Stress is a very common problem in every working environment so for reducing this stress yoga has become necessary. It keeps the people fit and fine away from all the health problems. And I have some good yoga tips at http://www.jiyohealthy.com/category/stress/

Just a question regarding yoga at work. Are there any regulations/standards/case history regarding yoga at work?
I have heard horror stories about companies having seated massages at work that have ended up in injuries to staff, some of which have been permanent and extremely serious.
Is this covered under workers compensation or the yoga instructor's insurance? If it is covered under the Instructor's insurance, is there compensation available to the company for the cost stemming from the employee's lost time or finding a replacement employee?
Whilst I think encouraging employees to participate in such programs is a great idea, the liabilities involved need to be clearly defined.
Would a risk assessment be sufficient to prove the employer had taken all steps to "ensure a safe workplace"?

Thank you.

Believe it or not there are so many benefits to yoga at work. We've found it not only helps manage stress, but helps employers in competitive labor markets to recruit and retain their staff.

Here's a case study:

And here are some stats:

Excellent news! In South Africa we have our first court case in terms of occupational ergonomics related illnesses/diseases. The results is still pending. However having a exercises programme that will assist in reducing ergonomic related incidents in the workplace will benefit all employees. Regards Christel - www.christelfouche.co.za
