Local Buy Queensland Appoints Safety Concepts
Safety Concepts has recently been appointed to Local Buy’s Council Business Systems contract in Queensland.
Local Buy is legislatively entitled to establish Local Government Association arrangements on behalf of Queensland’s local government authorities.
The Local Buy system was established by the Local Government Association of Queensland and provides cost effective and efficient procurement services. Local Buy provides a pre-tendered list of suppliers for the Australian state covering more than 75 organisations.
Safety Concepts has been appointed as Approved Supplier by Local Government Association of Queensland (Local Buy), “Provision of Council Business Systems” (Contract No. BUS 243-1113).
The scope for the panel is Consultancy Services, Installation, Maintenance and Support of Organisation Business Systems for the Queensland Local Government.
Managing Director Wayne Patterson said: “We are delighted to be included on the Queensland Local Buy vendor panel, meaning we have completed the full tendering exercise with Local Buy and are now available to all Queensland government organisations without requiring a tender.
Safety Concepts have developed the Local Government Safety System (LOGOSS) and offer a range of online induction, training and mobile compliance solutions for council.
“We understand the unique requirements and challenges facing Councils and Water Authorities”, said Mr Patterson.
“We have strong interest from Queensland for all our services, and this will accelerate the process of contracting with these organisations.”
