Gladstone Regional Council Installs LOGOSS Safety Management Software
One of the largest regional councils in Queensland has announced the adoption of the Local Government Safety System (LOGOSS) distributed by Safety Concepts.
Gladstone Regional Council has over 700 staff spread over many work sites and was looking for an easy to use software solution that complied with changing WHS laws.
LOGOSS has been developed specifically for the local government sector based on the proven IMS Safety System. It has been built and tailored to fit any council or local authority – working straight “out-of-the-box”.

Roll out of the new system will be completed in July, making this a very fast implementation project. According to Gladstone Regional Council Health and Safety Coordinator Craig Cousar this is a major step in improving the way incident reporting and safety management is conducted. What Craig particularly likes about the LOGOSS system is that it documents and collates a wide range of information that will help Council identify heightened risks quickly, at a click of the mouse, so solutions can be put in place. “It will generate reports and have filters that allow us to see where we are heading with safety and actions that need to be implemented”.
